Spoke with K-Dog yesterday, he called to see if I was still alive since I haven't posted up in a while.  I am too depressed to write or even read anything most of the time.  I go in today for my TURP operation to see if I can get rid of the catheter in my dick and **** again semi-normally.  I'll be overnight in the hospital, but should be back at the Cripple Prison tomorrow barring complications.  I still have made no progress on getting my fake leg and moving out of here to a semi-independent apartment is delayed at least another month.  The nurse who helped me initially on this project stood me up monday and did not show up to take me out.  Another unreliable helper.  Sigh.

I may start a series about life in the Cripple Prison which is kind of a microcosm of collapse.  I think I'll title it Northern Decrepitude if I write it.

I'll write again after the operation.

So what's up?  Still in the hospital?  What's the word on the prosthetic?  Constipation alleviated?

Finally got my Medicaid fixed and they now should cover the prosthetic leg.  However, no appointment available until June 28th.  Then it supposedly takes 6 more appts to get a finished leg.  So it is still a ways away to try and get some normality back to my life.

SS has also not sent me the Statement of Benefits letter I need to finish my application for a new apartment.  I ordered it almost a month ago.  I just ordered it again.  Hopefully I get it this time.

It's not as bad as unrelenting pain, but unrelenting BOREDOM is nearly as difficult to live with.  I spend nearly 24 hrs a day in an electric recliner.  I don't bother to go to my room and bed anymore, I sleep about the same in either place as much as I actually sleep, which is not much.  I sit reclined  with earplugs in and a mask over my eyes.  I am interested in nothing, I can't even find vids I want to watch though I have access 1000s of titles.

Another 2 weeks and I should start work on my fake leg again.  Still waiting for a Statement of Benefits from SS to continue at the process toward moving out.  I don't see that either one will make my life any more interesting.  The only improvement I forsee is better food.

I have come to realize this outcome has been inevitable for me since graduating HS.  I have gone through life since not once being at all happy.    There never even was a possibility I might be happy at some future date.  Just misery compounded on misery.  I will be miserable until the day I die.  It can't come soon enough.

I at last got an Activation Code for the mySocialSecurity website and got a copy of my Statement of Benefits.  I can now get approved for an apartment to move out of the assisted living Gulag here.

I theoretically start work on my fake leg next week.  Slow progress.

Otherwise, the **** Doctor says I owe him $375 and will no longer see me until paid.  I told him to get the money from my now approved Medicaid because he will never get it from me.  He is at the end of a long line of doctors I will never pay money who say I owe them.

I got approved also from Medicaid to go to a Senior Activities place called Life Works.  They pick you up in handicap vans to go to a strip mall location where they serve lunch and play Bingo.  They also take group trips to various stores like Walmart, which is the only value in it.  It is populated by the same demographic of gomer zombies that live in my Gulag.  There are absolutely ZERO activities around for Senior Cripples who still have their marbles.
