On dentists retiring early with a million in savings; I don't believe they make much doing fillings and extractions. A filling costs about 200$ and an extraction about 100 if it's straightforward. Let's say an hour for the former and half hour for the latter. They need to pay their license fee, the lease on the premises, the wages of the assistant and admin, the anaesthetic and filling material. I don't see more than 50$/hr after all that. I've noted the staffcarpark in dental surgeries doing that full of Toyota and Honda. I think the real money is in orthodontics/straightening and cosmetic/million dollar smiles. I've noted the older dentist doing that has an AMG Mercedes.. If Eddie is reading he can confirm or correct.
